Observation of the /var/log/messages file:

in the system

Yes, it works although it does not find ttyS0.
I have: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 Aug 25 14:18 /dev/gps0 -> ttyS0.

So it must be: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Aug 26 19:37 /dev/gps0 ->
/dev/ttyS0 I guess.

But still is the question how it can work?
