[LinuxPPS] Compile errors

I am using the current enneenne git kernel (2.6.21) and NTP 4.2.4.p3
patched with Udo's nmea patch. I have the latest timepps.h from the
enneenne site. Obviously I have compiled the kernel and have set the
userland as in the Wiki. The timeppps.h is set as world executable.

When I try to compile I get a warning that the timepps is present, but
cannot be compiled - suggesting I check for prerequisite headers.

Obviously a make goes very horribly wrong.

Where should I be looking?
