My patch was against last LinuxPPS version but it was just for
evaluating the "goodness" of the new implementation not for real
work... since I'm not still sure that some syscalls are correctly. I
just wishedd some comments. :)

If you wish I can post a patch against Linux vanilla for beta testing,
but if you wish using it with NTPD or an userland program you need
also a new version of timepps.h which uses the new syscalls instead of
the netlink layer.

I'm a bit busy now but I can do it in some days.
