[LinuxPPS] gcc versions, and same ppstest.c error with timepps.h

I forgot to mention, I'm using:

gnu at wraith.wraith.sf.ca.us[996] gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i586-pc-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../gcc-4.0.3/configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/lib --enable-languages=c,c++,objc --enable-threads=posix --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-shared --disable-nls --with-x=no
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.0.3 (CRUX)

I still get the same compile error on timepps.h when building ppstest.c
