[LinuxPPS] NTP not using PPS

First of all:

I also read the list.
So forwarding a messages without additional info about what you tried
after Rodolfo's suggestions does not make much sense.

BTW: I am no refclock guru, just a user. Read the manual page at
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/html/drivers/driver20.html.
Rodolfo's changes look sensible.
Did you try them?
What were the results?

Does minicom work on the serial port with the gps?
Do you see the DCD light up?
