He last posted Nov. 28.  So a little over a month.  Like you I am concerned 
that Rodolpho has not been communicating of late.  I hope he is OK and that 
his absence is temporary.

It looks to me like there will be PPS support in the 2.6.29 mainline (IE the 
code has been submitted).  At this point I think the main concern is that 
someone is available to work with the kernel folks to make sure that what is 
in the finalized kernel is working correctly and that this does not slip 
through the cracks.  I don't think this has to be Rodolpho although that would 
be preferred.   It looks like the low level IRQ support will not be merged in 
this window but I think this was expected.

In case something has happened to Rodolpho that would prevent him from working 
on the 2.6.29 kernel merge is there someone else here who could step up to the 
plate and handle this?
