[LinuxPPS] pps stops when ntpd starts?

When I replace ldattach by ppsldisc I did not get this behaviour and pps 
continued after starting ntpd.

(ntpd with the nmea patch and a garmin lvc 18)

Any ideas why?


Because ntpd did not get the pps the offset of the gps was due to the 
nmea giving the time stamps instead.
