Sorry for not reacting. I was a little bit busy.

I had some discussion with George, how to proceed. I still like this interface 
and want it included.
But: It's a little patch in only one file. Let's do the important steps first. 
It's my personal opinion (now) and an advise by other people who have solved 
other includes into mainline.
