[LinuxPPS] Linuxpps on 2.6.28 vs. ntpd 4.2.4p6

I followed the advice of Reg and used/switched to
4.2.5p{xyz} (I use 113) in conjunction with the Oncore driver.

First I start ppsldisc (or ttyctrl) and check the availability of
a PPS signal with:

watch -n1 cat /sys/class/pps/pps0/{clear,assert}

(in case of pps0)

For every new kernel I recompile ntpd with
the 'nano patched' /usr/include/sys/timex.h.

When I have pps timestamps, I start ntpd.
